The Cirrus Plus is a state of the art pharma-isolator dedicated to the development and production of drugs and sterile foods for patients, as well as the analysis of highly pathogenic samples in an extremely sterile environment.  Available in three different sizes, the Cirrus Plus can be configured in positive pressure for the protection of samples or in negative pressure for protection of the user and environment.  The chamber is kept sterile by means of acid or H_²O_² sterilisation and the ventilation of filtered air.  The H14 input filter is efficient to 99.999% of 0.3µm particles per cubic foot.  

Intuitive Design

The fully digital keypad is located at eye level in an easy-to-reach position, making it simpler for the user to operate.  Furthermore, the chamber is fully transparent on all four sides, meaning the user is working in natural light and thus minimises strain on the eyes.  In addition to this, the transparent sides allows a supervisor to monitor the user's work. 

The Cirrus Plus is also equipped with a sliding shelf between the manipulation and transfer chamber making it easy to move items around without straining the muscles of the use.  The sliding shelf has holes to allow the steriliser to easily reach the underside.

Users can choose to have their Cirrus Plus made of either polyester powder coated steel or stainless steel.

Double Door Transfer Port

The Double Door Transfer Port (DDTP) is used to introduce items into the isolator through a sterile connection port:

The outside of the isolator is contaminated by the surroundings (shown below in red).  Both the inside of the isolator and the transfer chamber are sterile.

The transfer chamber is then connected to the isolator and the contaminated part on the transfer chamber door is supressed within a seal between the door of the isolator. Both the door of the isolator and the transfer chamber are now inter-locked and will open as one single door. 

The door can now be opened and the item inside the transfer chamber can be introduced to the isolator without the risk of contamination.

Installation

To ensure that your equipment is operational immediately upon arrival, an MSE engineer will install it on site and carry out the necessary validation procedures.  The user will be fully trained to work on the Cirrus Plus and any bulky equipment to be used inside the chamber will be installed through the back service port.
